The Great NIT J Tamasha....

Need I say anything?

These ordered words that appear to be , were once a swarm of unorganized alplhabets - a blurred manuscript - created by a quivering hand....not out of sympathy , but out of sarcastic satisfaction....

After a virtual Rang de basanti like situation here in the campus, everything has fallen back in place ( i.e. out of place , AGAIN!!! )

Where's the fervour now?

Gone with the wind, or rather our beloved , MR. M ( you know where.....on a vacation to saddi Dilli...like our minds...)??

So while a certain Mr. M was busy getting Mr. M junior married, we were busy panning out new dishes , never heard of before , with the promise of revolutionising the system....blah..blah....!! ( Obviously, too many CHEFS at work found loads of Masala in the propinquity... )
Its one thing gathering crowds( you get lots of vehlas here at NIT "go dick under" (borrowed from Varun sir !! ) and totally another when it comes to finding a bunch of "Sensible Idiots" - Sensible because of obvious reasons and Idiots because their genuine concern for the system , would be regarded as an ostentatious idiosynracy by us so called "smart people"....

Its disheartening to see the way the situation was handled, it only showed the lack of unity amongst us....rather I wont call it lack of unity - for some "smart people " would rave about the huge crowds they had.....it was lack of a common agenda...or rather lack of common interest amongst those who mattered - THE MASSES...

Yes you had your demands - true - but how many of us actually stood for them??

There were voices heard about the need to remove Suppli's ,some generous smarties , rather settled for reducing the fees to 500...

Girls wanted sleeveless clothes to be allowed.....then there were concerns about Gate timings......I would rather not comment on these ( no I am not diplomatic , a**holes!! ), but only mention them, for I didnt have the privilege to feel the way it does in GH 1 & 2...maybe they had a point....But certainly not the right means....

Then there was the best of all . Mr. A wants pen drives to be allowed in CC ( i support him, but the problem is that's the only thing he wants..., ya...he is comfortable with the 3 : 1 ratio b/w us students and members of Family Caninus Lipius Peribus ---- DOGS!!! )

You can SHOUT out loud and yet not be heard , and be heard without even trying to make a rather conscious effort to be heard........sounds flustering , think of it ( after all thats the only thing we do....

WE ARE MEN OF WORDS......ahem, ahem...ONLY WORDS!!!

And whatever drama took place at the highway , for God's sake , When will those "smart people " actually get smarter!!

People were discussing about hunger strikes in the midst of savouring their Repast...sums it all, doesn't it?

Some Extra Smarties ,took it as an opportunity to dish out their political desires and show off their Importance ( Or Is It Impotence ?? )

Its one thing to show off Herogiri....and other to stand when it is actually counted...

What did we gain from it?

No the answer isnt nothing....we did gain....

But the big question is ........

WHAT DID WE LOSE FROM IT?

Apparently a little bit more then nothing.....

Best of luck, Student Union ( If ever it is to be made...)

P.S. : I tried hard to not to sound cynical, but as Tom Cruise says In JEERY MAGUIRE...
We live in a Cynical World, a BIG cynical World...

techNITi '09 n stuff

If there is something surely unfortunate about the ongoing student agitation, it has got to be its timing, just after techNITi it completely overshadowed the fest. So just in order to renew the memories, here is a my ( little long) account of what I saw and experienced during the eve of fest as well as during the fest.

During the eve of the fest there were mixed reactions ranging from...' yaar fest ki to koi feel hi nahi aa rhi ' to 'dude, dis time around techNITi is going to be something which we have never seen before!'....both of these reactions were the extremes of reaction spectrum....most people had opinions somewhere in between.

The publicity committee guys were constantly running around, looking extremely busy, pasting posters, collecting banners, attending there endless meetings. Guys around suddenly developed deep passion for robotics...automaxi, robo combat, robo roadies, mud rally, aqua bahn to name few of the events they aspired to participate ( or rather win, most of them cared only for the prize money) .

Then there were the accommodation committee guys whose lives seemed to revolve only around gaddas, takiyas, pedestal fans, entries etc.

The hilarious part is always the rumors...

Days before fest it came to light that first yrs. are not allowed in the fest. Now these were a few explanations doing rounds..

  • ' its an MHRD norm, first yrs. are not supposed to interact with seniors during first 3-4 months...'(okay, maybe)

  • ' someone from the first yr. has complained to the admin. about ragging..so they r being cautious..'(err..still okay..)

  • ' someone from the first yr has complained to the MHRD' ( but why??..)

  • ' no, no... he did not complain, just gave a missed call to MHRD...'
( next I was expecting somebody to say that the first yr had sent a complaint scrap to MHRD on orkut!!)
considering that the CSH was full to its brim during the performances, nobody was really complaining later.

then of course there are pessimists sort of people...spreading their own brand of rumors...

  • ' you know half of the sponsors have backed off...the budget has gone really low...'

  • ' the workshops are getting canceled, without first years whom do you expect to participate??'

  • ' some guest lectures have also been called off...you really believed that Dilip Chhabria and Dabbawala man will be a part of our fest??!!! you are really gullible...'
Of course none of these turned out to be true.
( I tried searching for these people during the fest..it turned out that most of them had gone home..)

The D-day arrived..18th Sept. and techNITi commenced ( without any opening ceremony.... nobody I knew had any explanation ).

Few of the events which I attended...

AUTOMAXI : the arena was fabulous, so were the line following robots. It was fun watching the proceedings..the successful participants simply beamed...others had lot to say...

'I will never touch a breadboard in my life.. stupid damned thing!!..cant even hold an I.C. properly...'

' Microcontrollers were allowed!!!..this is cheating!!'

ROBO COMBAT : It looked more of a derby race with participants screaming at there warring robos which were getting cut , severed, scratched n all.
( the Wall-E replica was getting as many admirers as the competition...kudos to the creators!!)

ROBO ROADIES : the arena was yet again perfect... the participants had a hard time going through the obstacles.

ESTHETIQUE : it was the usual fashion show....boys cheering up for the female models...I do not need to add more.

GENERAL QUIZ : the quiz master had brain racking questions to offer which the participants did their best to answer. For the audience it was merely an occasion to gather facts.

GAGSTERS AND MUSIC VIDEOS: the event started late, which lead to only three gags being screened. Some music videos were really good....the Malluworks' video( which eventually won) got much appreciation.

ADGINEERS: just like the above event there were a few entries, out of which some were trash , some were good and few were really good ( my favorite is the insurance one)

One event I must mention is ENGENIUS, of which a very dear friend of mine was an integral part but despite his repetitive invitations, I failed to participate in it. Anyway I heard that it got good response, so maybe he has forgotten that I had promised to be there ( good for me!!).

Then there were the guest lectures.

The teleconference with Dr. Sam Pitroda did gather many people, but I can bet half of them had no idea what he was speaking about in his monotonous voice.
The next day we had Mr. Mahesh Murthy whose lecture I missed but the students' reaction was fabulous.
Then the lecture I was eagerly waiting for.... one by Mr. Dilip Chhabria. Well most guys dozed off....waking up only when the slide show of his creations began. Some questions were asked as well..most of which tended to get repetitive.
I missed the entrepreneurship workshop too... but the kind of brickbats it got....I do not think I missed anything exciting.
Lastly there was the Dabbawala guest lecture where Mr. Manish Tripathi explained the nuances of his organization, distributed gandhi topis ... which people did enjoy.

The nights were lit up by the spectacular performances...Mr. Christopher James on Day 1 and Mr. Amar Sen on Day 2.
While Mr. James played magic with cards, levitated tables holding just it's tablecloth, produced flowers out of ashes, filled an empty Pepsi can out of thin air, changed Rs. 100 note to Rs. 1000 note... leaving people dumbstruck ( quite many people were keen to learn the last trick) , Mr. Sen endeared the crowd with his unique performance using hand shadows a craft few of us had seen before.

Compared to these the closing ceremony was a bit dampener, with none of the performances really firing up the crowd.....but as they say nothing is perfect. Most of the prizes went to outside participants...( some people grumbled about this, some were content as it meant more outside participation in future)

I forgot to mention the food stall where one could get a glass of soft drink for Rs. 15 only, one dinner meal for Rs. 50 only....and so on.The final verdict : overpriced and not so good food.

Vodafone had set up it's counter with speakers blaring out popular numbers and some fun games being played [ one of them involved doing continuous push ups for a certain time limit ( which I'm unable to recollect) ]...much to the amusement of the crowd.
Next day they were joined by the Mountain Dew counter where one was supposed to do the same push ups on ice slabs....these guys lived upto the brand image.

So this was techNITi'09 from my eyes ... interesting competitions, loads of fun, great learning experiences, large participation, few glitches....overall really fantastic and memorable..

Very well written, Sarthi!! Welcome on board ! :)

Quirky News

Preparations for Techniti-09 our technical fest are on in full swing. Lot of the students on campus are surprised by the number of different events and happenings, the words on everyone's lips are that this is gonna be the best fest on campus ever. The D-day is approaching fast with less than 2 weeks to spare. People who have no idea what I'm talking about or wanna know more plz visit : http://www.techniti.org

In other news, a really different scene unfolded at Himachal Unviersity as reported in TOI... 2 students were expelled for ragging..and hold ur breath.. the victims and eyewitnesses were fined for not reporting the incident to the authorities. That's a harsh stance to say the least. Guess our college might just lose out on its "top ragging free campus in country" tag soon. Two things that struck me about the news were:

1. It took a suicide a year back for them to adopt such a harsh stance.
2. Does this open up an opportunity for authorities to slap ragging cases on unsuspecting students, even if the supposed victim says the event never occurred, that all that was watched by some 3rd party was construed to be something it wasn't..

I guess the answer lies in the future case of some unfortunate senior...

ALONE...

Something sinister in the tone
Told me my secret, my to be known :
Word I was in the house alone
Somehow must have gotten abroad
Word I was in life alone
Word I had no one left but God....

D - DAY

I can't believe if that's true
For i thought i was all but through..
The fear that lied , only grew..
As i stood in shock with nothing but my words to chew.

The morning was cool as i lay in my bed
And I am no fool , to speak of this dream, i had..
The flashes are quite clear as i now approach to have my bread
A rainy day with the sun in it's full flow
Oh! look at the rainbow there with it's glow..

Just a perfect day , i thought
As i sauntered down the road unawares of the fraught..
I checked my cellphone as it rang
Just a message to catch up with my gang..

I wondered if there were any plans
To move out and take a chance..
Today wasn't any class, as i was caught unaware
Like entering a canine house ignoring the sign BEWARE!

And then the moment of reckoning arrived
Like an innocent lamb, ready to be sacrificed..
The board stood there , ever so daunting
As my hopes and dreams were all but sinking..

Finally the result had arrived
And how do i end this, when i am all cross and tied!!

Minors--A Major Problem

I stood there with half my eyes open

Another one gone and my hopes gone too
Still trying to get rid of the hell out of heaven
Was it a nightmare or was it all true?

I sat there for an hour, black words hovering around
A pen & parchment were all I had,to tackle this on the battleground
I decided to go face it with dignity
During those moments of adversity
(As if i had any other choice!!)

I lay there with the monkey on my back
Still not recovered from the horrid sights of the books on the rack
Was it Day or Night I was in or was it just another dimension I had never in been?
Just another question added to my search for answers that was so sissyphean.

My countenances made people laugh
They needed some good amusement after toiling so hard.
I was awake for 6 days(or nights?)
Still trying to figure if i survived.

And the moment I sit and relax with the monkey of my back,
I realise the game has just began, the rat race is gonna return

So, now i sit here, waiting for the inevitable to happen....
Contemplating over what could have been and what aint?
I lie here on my bed - waiting to get things back on track....

Minors - Oh you made me realise - names can be deceptive
For you are the biggest problem of my life.

Festivities and Pleasantaries

Its a bit strange when something important is about to happen, things somehow all fall into place. As if somehow it all just has to happen with the least trouble, right from the weather turning pleasant to solutions being found for all the minor glitches that crop up.

Today while some of us started the holy month of Ramadan with their daily fasting, some like me were totally immersed in celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at SAC. It involved a Hawan in the morning and will have an evening Aarti everyday till 27th (when visarjan will occur) at 7.00pm after which prasad will be offered.

A thing that passed my mind as I closely observed all of this, was how all of us who self proclaim themselves as atheist, sin committing individuals are actually the most god fearing individuals, the ones who linger and pray to the higher being, the most when such occasions arises. Not wanting to delve too much on the philosophical side of this, just would want say that people shouldn't do things they may repent later or think they can get off their slate by being sorry about it...

On another completely different note, rumors flying about of another strike tomorrow, no clue whether its teaching or non-teaching. Though I would agree with most of my fellow mates that these strikes help us get " valuable free time".. the only thing I don't like about them is the uncertainty that goes along with them... you never know in advance that they r gonna happen n u still have to wake up early to attend that morning class..

Exams!!!

Wow!!! Hold on a sec, exams round the corner guys. Come on you have to be kidding me. I just came in 3 weeks back. How can we have exams this month end? WTF?
But that is the truth. No matter you have settled in the college routine or not, we have our exams this month end. What sucks more is that we still don’t have the books. Leave the books I am not even sure of my subject names as yet. I wonder what I am gonna do this time! Help guys!!

August 15.. Sounds familiar

Well I have never attended the celebration( if there is any) in our college.. I've heard that it's Euphoric.. :-P .  It's only a custom that the director & the registrar are saddled with.. their grim faces suggest that the morning tea or maybe the last night's sex weren't good enough.. the only saving grace is a movie by the movie club which is usually enjoyed by most of the students.. I hope someone is planning on flying kites & make the occasion more lively..

 Anyways Happy Independance Day guys..

Need for more Events....

Well.....all this while as i write this, all the existing societies of our college are racing against time to get their acts together for the big event - TECHNITI.

To be very honest with you guys, barring TechNiti and Utkansh , our college is almost dysfunctional..........So why not plan and prepare for more events outside the domain of these 2?

Take 4 example this - when was the last time we had an Inter College Debate-- Leave Inter college - We hardly ever had an Intra college event!!!

So i request everyone to brace up and collaborate with each other to make our college life more active and 'EVENT'ful.......

Now that I am a sophomore myself as most of the guys here are, we would appreciate to see some changes and not just be a part of them , but actually implement them.....

Strike!!!

Strike!!! I call a Strike. Implement sixth pay commission.Strike!!!
Well yes friends you guessed right. I am repeating words of our beloved non teaching staff. After probably 5 days of calling strike, shouting slogans, disrupting classes and labs they still havnt reached anywhere. Our director is keeping a very straight face to all this it seems. And just after the pay commission has agreed to almost double the salaries of the teachers in the IIMs,IITs and NITs, the non teching staff seems to have thier hopes way high in the sky. The benifit or loss that i am not sure is of the students. No labs-means more sleep in hostel for those who like doing it and those who dont can actually go 2 hell. Library is closed. The CC is closed. Every thing that is actually of some importance to us is closed. Even the Nescafe counter hasnt opened. I wonder which strike he is taking part in.

POWER(LESS) PRACTICALS

Blank faces and blank pages
That was all to be seen around
Been wathchin students' plight since ages
The devils still felt pleasure unbound

Those times flashed back in minds
When Power didn't count for a class
Some slept in postures of all kinds
While the others went to alps for time pass

But the dream broke, heard a polite voice
Memory, though a little hazy,I recall
It said something about giving a choice
Either to run away or strip in front of all

Running away?I couldn't salvage my pride
Really?he thought he could scare me away
The show began,as the curtains slide
And what happened next,is a nightmare to this day

It began with my shirt
And went all down
Stripped all,not a speck of dignity left
I stood there like a clown

Engineer?Will I ever become one?
Why the heck I chose this career?
The polite voice made me think upon
As it moved on to check out the next stripper

Though dejected,I still don't feel so low
How could I? when even Papa Bear couldn't do
We all were part of this mass rape
This odreal we all had go through.

SWINE FLU CONCERNS

This post does not aim to create a situation of panic or anxiety amongst you readers, it is just to share the latest information about the Swine flu cases being reported here in the campus.

Before we jump to any conclusions and start packing our bags, it is of paramount importance to understand and appreciate the fact that none of the cases have actually been confirmed.

There's a scare, particularly in hostel 3 . as about 30 suspected cases have been reported - NONE OF THEM CONFIRMED, THOUGH.

I would request, not just the readers, but everyone here to maintain calm and please avoid rumours.

My message not only encompasses our college, but everyone in general......Panic does no good, it only amplifies your concerns.

Just to be on the precautionary side....I am posting the general symptoms for Swine flu...and also the link.....remember dont take these symptoms as the sole criteria.....Better Consult a Doctor :)

Swine Flu Symptoms

According to the CDC, like seasonal flu, symptoms of swine flu infections can include:

  • fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent
  • cough
  • runny nose or stuffy nose
  • sore throat
  • body aches
  • headache
  • chills
  • fatigue or tiredness, which can be extreme
  • diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal flu

Signs of a more serious swine flu infection might include pneumonia and respiratory failure.

If your child has symptoms of swine flu, you should avoid other people and call your pediatrician who might do a rapid flu test to see if he has an influenza A infection. Further testing can then be done to see if it is a swine flu infection. (Samples can be sent to local and state health departments and the CDC for confirmation of swine flu, especially if a child is in the hospital.)

Keep Smiling.It helps. :)

ICE TO CSE,CSE TO ICE....Kya hai yeh Drama?

Faces.....lots of faces - faces is what i saw....& they saw me.

Sceptical countenances is what i got, reciprocated with a smile and there i was ......

I start my second year as a fresher again :) , inebriated with the same old enthusiasm tantamount to that of a newcomer, which made me work assidiously in the first sem.....

Novelty has that terrific feeling of freshness attached to it....

Well...atleast feeling like one....

A lot of people questioned the logic behind my 'impertinent' decision, which usually put me in a fix....as i cant criticise about the class i have been a part of before and obviously, not against my new batch.

No cynicism was involved in this decision. Its simple. I did what i liked.

Recession will not have too much of an impact on us .....so no worries.

And yes, ICE is fun. The mentality is different here - that from CSE. (Just a personal view, Read the Disclaimer Note :P)

As for our college goes, the new session promises to be a one which is going to witness a few refreshing novel changes( atleast that's what i expect ). For one, TechNiti promises to be better then the first 2 editions. Its sticking to its tagline - Innovative.

There's going to be some real pathbreaking stuff, rest assured, I can guarantee that.

With events like TechnoMagic Show and the presence of a proper Quiz master of the stature of Gautum Bose( someone whom i followed ) certainly adds to the prestige.

The Techniti commitee this time is full of creative enthusiasm. that's always welcome.

Though a few areas are still there which can be worked upon( in my next blog , I discuss about them )

Studies haven't yet started in full flow( ofcourse talking about me ! )......I expect them to be the same throughout the year. :D

Till then, its curtains from my side.....

Keep up the good work at blog Guys & Galz( Oops, sorry said that out of habit (a cliche ) , ofcourse no girls here! :( )

Students Council

Hi frnds
Am writing this blog in expectation that I will get a response from all of you who read it. Feel free to express what you think aftr reading it.
Our college provides us with a lot of facilities. But most of them get wasted due to lack of maintenance and proper care. Also the college always takes decisions based on their advantage rather than ours.keeping all this in mind we have decided to come up with a student council which will put forth all these problems in front of the college authorities. It will be the first organized council of the students where every student of the college will be a member. Ofcourse we expect resistence from college but that is what makes this council all the more important to form.
So all of you please let us know what you think. Invite your frnds to join this blog.

Girls @ NIT......

Phoolon ka taaron ka subka kehna kehna hai
Ek hazaaron main meri behna hai....
Saari umar humein sang rehna hai.......

Well......that does ring bells in your eardrums, doesn't it?

I write this a day prior to ....yup...u guessed it right...Rakshabandhan......

A day when all( ok, with a few - very few exceptions! ) our reverent ' behenjis '( infact Auntijies !! ) assemble to eliminate even the slighest morsels of inequities in guys( in their own words....OPEN FOR DEBATE)

That actually, is just a matter of perspective.......at the first place calling those damn scapegoats unlucky is unfortunate....

Reason being simple-
I can't imagine what pleasure those guys would have had anyways with those supposedely 'pleasure giving' sights( Really?).........

See lets get it straight..........What NIT lacks( among other things ofcourse) is (Beauty?)Girls!!!

Now on paper, you might argue that we have a healthy sex( A DREADED WORD HERE) ratio......( BTW by my estimates, the ratio b/w students and dogs here is 5:1 !!)

Maybe the occasion isn't right to talk about this.....

Anyways........Guys take guard for now.......or you might just lose your last ray of hope!

P.S. : Just a humourous take , cut short by a call .......DONT be cynical after reading this.....It can only get better .....

And yes to all our existing members and members to be , Guys contribute - Its A Coll blog :P

This is Utki signing off.....till next time.

The College Begins

We are back from our holidays and the college has already started showing its colours. Its started with the hostel allotments. Probably the worst ever managment possible. Any how the more important things are yet to come. The new first year is in. God knows what awaits us this year. TechNiti too is on its way. Work is as usual slow and hardly visible but no one is to be blammed for we ourselves are responsible.

The Ultimate Race For Hostel @ NIT J....

The aptitude for ineptitude that followed me throughout my summer - with the affininity that Bush( and now hopefully Barack ) had for Osama.....gave me the feel of ' deja vu ' - that the world is like an open desert , same at all ends with nothing to choose from.

Come NIT J........and it was refreshing to see the great circus back again......, though only till i wasn't at the recieving end! Unfortunately, my refreshment was about to end today.....
This is the first time i give a complete account of my day - not that it would change your world around - but still ( Read this if you are fully faltoo - which is so very much expected from a NITian!).....No philosphy here ( unlike my earlier posts, so relax! )

Voila!!

6 : 00 A.M

Just as the dawn with its golden brigade adorns the clouds above ,killing off the darkness, inebriating the lively ideal day one would expect to follow.....
About the ideal time to start your day.... ..

????

Not for me, though.

z..zz...zzzz.....zzzzzz.......please dont disturb , I am sleeping! (dreaming about .......u know.....who...)

6 : 30 A.M.

Me still dozing off.......

come again....

7 : 00 A.M.

Ahh.....

hmm.....

Well I changed my posture now.......

8 : 00 A.M

ok......off to business now!!

I search for my toothbrush........

8 : 10 A.M.

Still searching for my toothbrush!! Phew....dere it is......
oops where's the toothpaste?....

8 : 15 A.M.

Ok...i am done .....

Why is my temporary roommate screaming?
......

seems he is searching for his toothbrush now!!

God! Did i notice my brush just turned Red!

Sorry bro!

8 : 35 A.M.

I walk towards Ravi's room....my future room mate......we have to go to the bank to deposit our hostel fees in advance...only then we will be alloted the hostel....
Rs. 8500 / That's what I require....

Rs. 1800 / Thats what I have .......

My check worth 10000 hasnt yet reached my account......

So there begins my Jugaad.......

Jugaad is all about the magic of improvisation –when a never-say-die attitude and an ability for lateral thinking encounters an unforeseen problem in a resource-poor situation. As a term it used to be referred to with wry affection that asserted the fix-it approach and yet indicated its rough-and-ready contours. You get first hand experience of it here.....

2500 - Ravi
1000- Rahul
4000-Rudraksh(Rudy)

Atleast that's my plan.....

8 : 40 A.m.

Ravi is busy on someone's lappy.....

With the intensity tantamount to Gambhir's grit, with a glint in his eyes , reminiscent of Ganguly's determination and enthusiasm on his face like Sachin's apetite for runs......there he was.....

Ravi ,"Bas ekk aur minute bhai! thoda important kaam hai mereko!"

Me , " Kya kaa....." and as i moved forward to check......well it turned blue....not the sky...neither my mood....but you know something on the lappy!!

Uh...aahh....uh...aah....ohhh!!! The words , rather squeky sounds of a lady ( dont ask me the dressing details , please! ) reverberate within the room...

Rudy is busy with Fifa.....

Rahul is nowhere to be seen( i was expecting that! )....

So in despair I step out of hostel 6...towards the bank...hoping for a miracle.....Its raining heavily....as one would expect.....whatever little roads we have at nit are waterlogged....
And the "kacchi Sadak " is nothing but a quagmire......

A perfect place for budding tadpoles to try their first lessons at swimming.....

Will someone try to notice the fact that this college was meant for homo sapiens?

Not for members of 'Canis lupus familiaris' ( i think there must be 3 : 1 ratio for students : dogs here...) Atleast we still hold the majourity!

Never mind as i walked( almost floated) my way to the bank....a long queue welcomed me....

All socialising and catching up with old friends took backseat as we huffled and puffled our way to the Canara ATM....
I took out 1500 ( so now i was left with 300 )
And then came my saviour - my angel - Anoop....

He offered to lend me 7000 bucks for 2 days...till the time my check comes up...

Thanks bro!!

But as it was intended to be...the Atm ran out of money....

So the rush moved towards

State Bank Atm....

Its amazing, we were first in our line after a good 30 minutes...and there we were all of a sudden at the back again!!

Anoop , " Chal koi na, Modi! Usse nikal lete hai! ".

Me , " Thanks yaar!! ".

45 Minutes later.....

Anoop, " Chal koi na, Modi! kisi aur din nikal lete hai! ".

Me, " ###****@@@@*&%%$#^#^$%& ".

Anoop, " Theek hai ,,,,le pakad Atm aur yeh le pin code.....34**....leekh le kahin par...."

Me , " Koi Naa.....meri memory badi sharp hai! Tu jaa aaram kar!"

I stood in the line , in the commotion......

11 : 30 AM

Still Raining, still in the line.....

There is no worse feeling , then the chaffing of wet, stinky clothes with your body.....well actually there is...i was about to learn later...

11 : 55 AM

My turn is about to come....am i dreaming? No, this can't be true!!!

Dreams are like intoxicants( mild one's though) they take you out of your miseries, and satiate your whims and fancies......Nothing beats the entry in the land of Morpheus( roman god of dreams)

Meanwhile Pramod still continues his f***ing comments about everything crap....I understand....

But Now his comments give me a headache.....Dude & F**K are the only 2 words engraved in his lexicon(Hope he takes this in a lighter vein ! )....

Give it a break ! You might find better words...
